The trail and meandering creek that leads to the waterfall zigs and zags in a variety of angles, making composing a photo fun... and challenging. Each curve brings its own obstacles and in this issue of Photo Methodology, my goal is to show you that embracing these obstacles that yield great results.

  • There are two key stages in the lifecycle of a photograph. The first is the composition stage. With each issue of Photo Methodology, you are provided with an eBooklette containing my narrative and visualization process of identifying the final composition. You’ll be walked through my thought process of what works and what doesn’t work across a wide range of environments and scenarios.     Next is the post processing and stylization stage of a photograph’s lifecycle.
